Did you know keeping a fridge open for 5 minutes can make
your electricity bill as expensive as a diamond ring? Well it is not only the
fridge there are a thousand of gadgets that consume electricity. But it is our
responsibility to make mother earth beautiful and to stop the huge electricity
bill. If we don’t want to face a dark and sad Earth is what comes to my mind.
The beautiful earth will not last for long because of our
silly mistakes we make every day, like not turning of the lights before leaving
home. When it is hot and the window is open and you turn the air conditioner
on. There is an abnormal amount of things that we do wrong. Think what you
did today morning you jumped out of bed brush your teeth. Then you take a bath.
Then you toasted bread poured a glass of milk. These are some activities you do
every day which conducts electricity.

Electricity
is important part of our modern life. Human rely on this energy for lighting,
cooking, cooling, entertainment and almost every aspect of life. Because our
life revolves around electricity, we need to be very wise consumer about its
each use. Preserving or saving energy
and safeguarding the every watt count can have very fruitful effects environmentally,
financially and personally. If we use less electricity, we have to pay less.
By
saving every Watt, we consumers are protecting our environment because we will
not be able to depend upon non renewable resources forever. So we have to use
every watt very carefully because every watt counts. While electricity allows
us to live comfortably, it also depletes our natural gas, coal and oil reserve.
Our natural gas, coal and oil reserve leads to fossil fuel. Energy resources
can be extended by preservation. We can make each Watt count by restricting the
energy use or cutting down the way we use electricity. If every person on this earth saved one watt,
there would be more than watt. There are tons of things we could do with that many
watts. And when we use less energy now, we have more energy to use in the
future.
We
must take positive steps to save watts. One big thing you can do is turn off
the all lights when we are not using it. Another way to conserve energy is to
replace your old light with energy efficient light to use less energy. Take
bath instead of shower. Open curtain that covers our window so that sunlight
comes in so we don’t have to turn on a light. Energy is the most important part of our lives
and thus must be used wisely if we are going to protect the world. As we can see, every watt does count, if we
use less energy now, we have more energy to use in future. All this goes to show that just turning of
light switch helps a lot.

A constant supply of electricity is a must to support the modern lifestyle and today’s world. From the normal lights to the most modern, high tech machinery and gadgets at home or outside, all depend on supply of electricity. In order to meet this high demand it is important to manufacture huge amount of electricity which is primarily generated by massive generators equipped with turbines.
This powerful source of energy can be generated by using both renewable and nonrenewable sources. To address the growing demand for electrical energy many power plants have been established.
Thermal power plants, generate electricity by burning huge amount of fuel like coal, natural gas, oil, to heat water and produce steam which in turn rotates turbine to create electricity.Huge resources of fossil fuels are utilized for the process.these non-renewable resources are depleting fast. Also due to burning of fossil fuels environmental pollution is caused which leads to global warming and is a serious threat to the environment. The mining of coal is causing landslides to erupt in mountains.
Nuclear power plants using nuclear fuel to produce electricity are another serious threat to mankind. Nuclear waste produced from them needs proper disposal; else a small league can be dangerous for all.
Kinetic generating plants harness the power of moving water and wind to generate electricity. On the other hand, the photo-voltaic cells utilize the dazzling sun’s energy in stored form to produce the same. Both these forms are renewable, safe sources causing no pollution but still we haven’t built sophisticated system to tap these forms properly.
Our dependency is hence mainly on non-renewable resources and nuclear fuels to generate electricity to the world. On one hand we are running short of the resources and at the same time we are damaging our mother earth. It’s definitely time to wake up before it’s too late. We should stop misusing electrical energy. It will not only help the environment but will also save our money thereby improving the economy of the world. More money in our bag and pollution free environment will give us a chance to live quality life. Hence it is important to spend this priceless energy like a miser as Every Watt Counts.

We all use gadgets these days, for entertainment purposes, educational purposes and even for communication purposes.Well have you ever thought what powers these things to help you?
Electricity is the purpose and the reason why you can charge your phone whenever you want to why you can watch your favourite shows at suitable times.Electricity is measured in watt’s if you know, and every watt counts, just like food and water is a major need for you.Small actions have to be taken everywhere, for the sake of conserving electricity,as we’ve already wasted tonnes of watts. And from my side we’ll be doomed till almost 2030,if we use too many watts at a very fast rate.
However, electricity is an integral part of our life, and if we use too less of it we will not be able to live our lives peacefully.Well, renewable energy is a solution for this problem, and using electricity produced from this would be a solution to our problem.Renewable energy is renewable, meaning that you can use how much ever you want. However, renewable energy is not developing fast enough to serve our needs, and so saving watts is also very important too.
At homes,at commercial places and even at other residential places(like hotels) we should take actions,we should stop using too much electricity,we should stop using too many watts and be caring,as electricity is not going to be by our side forever.
So Friends, however rich you are or how much ever money you pay for getting more electricity, one day you will have lots of money but there will be no electricity left in this whole world.
To conclude, every watt counts for us,and saving watts now would be a very big benefit for our future generations. So mates, save watts for a good cause!!

Electricity is the most important part of our life. Without electricity, our everyday chores, our way of life will stand still. The factories, transport, machines, all of them work on electricity. We should realize its importance and try to save it by all means. As saving each watt means saving the environment.
Saving electricity can start from home and can be done in different ways. Turn off the lights and plugs when not in use. Replace the old appliances from new energy saving appliances. Use mini sized instant water heaters to save electricity in heating huge quantity of water. Install motion sensor lights to save electricity. Another way to save is by installing LED bulbs. Each watt saved is saving the burning of coal and saving the environment.
Another way to save precious resources and the environment is by switching to the alternate or renewable sources of electricity. Solar energy can be used in multiple ways, from generation of electricity in big solar parks to local uses like street lighting, home heating, solar stoves. Countries like Iceland are using another mean in geothermal energy to generate electricity. Wind energy is used in wind turbines to generate electricity. Hydroelectric dams generate using the force of flowing water.
Electricity is an integral part of our life, we should save it. Even small savings can take you a long way, that’s why we can say Every Watt Counts.

Electricity is very
important to us. We are dependent on it for all our daily uses. We need
electricity every day. Why do we need so much electricity? Many villages do not
get electricity and we use so much. Why don’t we realise that we are using
excess of electricity? If we don’t save it now, we might not get it in the
future, we are also destroying the world. Why do we want to destroy our beloved planet?
Many people don’t have electricity.
More than 300 million people in India
don’t have access to electricity and in other countries, 1.2 billion people
live with total blackout. In our villages life is very difficult. They have to
make everything by hand, right from weaving baskets to weaving clothes, they
don’t even have fans and proper lighting and are given an oil lantern to light
their houses. We should improve their lifestyle and make our villages a better
place to live.
Electricity is very useful.
It can power anything and run the entire world. It can power cars, buses, buildings,
factories etc. But, we must use it very wisely, or we might not get electricity
in the future and many needy people will have to stay in darkness. We should
save it.
We can save electricity by
allowing sunlight to enter our house, by switching off lights and fan when you
leave the room, by unplugging your charger when not in use, by changing your
bulbs to less taking electricity bulbs and by replacing old appliances with new
energy saving ones.
We must save electricity
or we might not get it in the future because every watt counts.

We all use
energy, right? We use it for cooking, cleaning and to get information. It is a
really good invention but overusing it isn't good. It started with the burning
of coal and ended in a big problem, pollution. Did you know that the burning of
coal leads to 21.3 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide getting emitted? That's a
lot. There are three types of fossil fuels. They are coal, natural gas and oil.
Coal is used the most in India.
If we don't stop
wasting electricity, there will be none left. The burning of fossil fuels also
causes other gases to get emitted like methane. This is bad for the planet
because these gases can cover the earth and this will cause the temperature to
rise. This will make polar ice caps melt and the sea level will rise. This will
cause floods and humans can lose their habitat. The burning of coal also leads
to other gases getting emitted like sulphur dioxide. These gases can react with
the water molecules in the atmosphere and cause acid rain. This rain can kill
many insects and aquatic life. It can also make the water contaminated.
The consumption of such contaminated water can lead to life threatening
diseases. The mining of coal can also spoil vegetation and destroy top soil.
Most of the
population is dependent on fossil fuels as a form of electricity and we need to
stop that. To do so we should try thinking of futuristic solutions. One
thing we can do now is use alternative sources of energy. You can use solar
energy, hydro energy, geothermal energy or wind energy. These sources of energy
are clean and don't harm the environment. We should save energy for the next
generation and be good world citizens.
